On Sunday 7 June 2026 we will host a full iron distance race at the Château de Chantilly Multisport Event. “The Bastion” will be the closest full iron race to Paris and will feature a 3.8km swim, a fast 180km bike and a stunning 42.2km run through the grounds of the beautiful château.
The Bastion 140.6 will be part of a wider festival of multisport at the château over the weekend of 6-7 June, coinciding with 2026 hosting our 16th edition of the event. Each Bastion entrant will receive a finisher t-shirt, rucksack, a post-race meal and massage along with our iconic medal.

The majestic Château de Chantilly, Hauts-de-France region, will host the second event of our 2026 Season. Throughout the weekend, athletes and spectators will be able to enjoy the castle grounds and a festival village atmosphere featuring live music, shopping, food and drink, children’s entertainment, yoga and more.
Whether you into swim, bike, run or all three this stunning venue won’t disappoint. Swimmers can enjoy the serene Grand Canal, a 2.5km long tributary of the Oise. See wetsuit rules here. The cycle routes circumnavigate the arrow straight bridleways of the Foret de Chantilly, with the run sections named after the Maison de Sylvie that it surrounds.
This weekend festival of sport will host a huge range of races for all ages and abilities. Regardless if you’re 9 or 90 years old, a first-timer or an elite, we have a race for you! 2025 saw thousands of runners return to all running races at Chantilly! The competitively priced ticket and free spectator offer saw thousands flock to this historical setting. The new running route took our international pack of marathon, half marathon and 10k runners through a variety of stunning paths and tracks within the Château ground’s. The finishing straight in front of the Château and festival atmosphere provided an exciting climax for each participant as they crossed the line to accept their iconic medal and feast of an array of refreshment goodies. We look forward to building on this success and making the Chantilly Run a must in every runners calendar!

Try a beginner’s triathlon, or go further with the half iron distance, The Gauntlet. Enjoy a dazzling 10K, half marathon, or marathon or sign up for one of our open water swimming courses.
As this event will be sanctioned by the French Triathlon Federation, and if you are participating in a triathlon or multi-sport event, you will need a valid licence to participate.
TRIATHLON: We work with the F.F.TRI and host many qualifying and championship races. From beginner, junior to elite, we are actively encouraging more and more people to participate in the sport.
SWIMMING: Take the unique and exhilarating opportunity to swim in open water in private Château lake with stunning views of the landscape.
Entrants will be notified of their wave time via email approximately 2 weeks prior to the event. We ask that triathlon and multisport participants arrive at the Holding Area 1hour 15 minutes before their given start time. Swim and Run Series participants need to arrive no later than 30 minutes before the start of their race. Allow for a 10 minute walk from the Car Park.
Juniors 8 – 15 years – A non-draft race for all age groups. Bike course on multi terrain, off road tyres advisory!
