We are on a mission to make sure that anyone of any gender, age or ability feels welcome and safe to take part in our races. We welcome volunteers and marshals, first-timers and old-timers, the next generation and the elites, clubs and corporates, schools and seniors. The more the merrier.
We are always looking for fantastic marshals for our sporting events. There are a number of ways to get involved:
*This role can be undertaken by the athlete, or a friend or family member who would like to support you and is valid for a race up to an including Olympic Triathlon distance or to be used to reduce the fee of our ultra races.
We welcome all sports clubs to take part in our events and can offer group discounts, tailored waves for club championships, trading places scheme, as well as allocating you a place to pitch gazebos for a meeting spot in the event village.
We offer opportunities for companies to experience our events together – a great way to build team morale and friendly competition. This can include group booking discounts, pre- and post-race refreshment from your own hospitality marquee, your own company wave, custom kit and more.
We have an ethos of accessibility and inclusivity and want to be able to offer a race for everyone. We are proud to have hosted many inspirational paratriathletes over the years including, Paralympian Matthew Emmerson, the Band of Brothers and Band of Sisters – injured and wounded service men and women. If you have specific race requirements, please get in touch as we would love to make it possible for you to race with us.
We have starter distances across all our disciplines and a very supportive community of athletes and marshals to help you feel confident and comfortable completing your first race.
Rising stars and athletes have raced with us from the very beginning. Many of our triathlon events host qualifying and national championships races in partnership with the BTF, TI and FF Tri, and our obstacle race is now a OCR World Championship Qualifier. We have always supported elites in their racing journey, so get in touch if you’d like to race with us this season.
Over the last few years we increased our female participation to 38% by adding a greater variety of distances, female-only waves, launching our virtual series and making strategic partnerships. We’re closing the gap and if you’d like to help us please get in touch.
We offer discounts on our races to those who are serving or have served in the armed forces. If you are interested in racing with us, please get in contact and provide us with a valid Defence Privilege Card, MOD 90 or Official Military ID, your service number and details on the unit you are currently/were serving in. We will then be able to provide you with a unique code to receive your discount.
