These events give athletes the opportunity to qualify to represent Great Britain’s Age-Group Team on the international stage — set within two of the UK’s most iconic multisport venues.

Belvoir Castle Triathlon – 18 July 2026
European Sprint Distance Triathlon Qualifier

Hever Castle Triathlon – 27 September 2026
World Standard Distance Aquabike Qualifier

These prestigious titles recognise the exceptional race experience, course quality, and event delivery that Castle Race Series is celebrated for across the UK and Europe.

What this means for athletes

Whether you’re chasing your first Great Britain Age-Group vest or returning to defend your spot, these qualifiers provide the perfect stage to perform.

  • Hever Castle offers a truly iconic Aquabike course — a stunning swim in the private lake followed by a challenging yet scenic cycle through the Kent countryside.

  • Belvoir Castle delivers fast, flowing racing on a closed-road Sprint Triathlon course, surrounded by Leicestershire’s rolling parkland.

If you intend to qualify for the Great Britain Age Group Team, you must be a Core or Ultimate member of British Triathlon through your Home Nation and register your intent before 5pm on the Friday before the race.
