WHERE IS IT?

Join us at the Lough Cutra Castle Multisport Event to race through the beautiful grounds and surrounding area of stunning South Galway.

The Castle, built during the Gothic revival period and once home to now King Charles during a 3-day visit to Ireland, is idyllically situated overlooking the Estate’s 1,000 acre lake; the largest privately owned lake in Europe and home to this event’s open-water swims.

THE RULES

You can enter with anyone you like, but to be eligible for the prize, your team must follow the MTR rules:

  • Order of play: Female → Open → Female → Open

  • Race format: Typically 250m swim, 5km bike, and 1.5km run per person

Entry is just €50 per team, with a €500 prize for the winners.

Teams that don’t follow the strict MTR (ie, 3 women, 1 man) rules are still very welcome to take part and enjoy the event!
