Cholmondeley Castle has been chosen as one of six ‘Best of British’ locations by governing body, British Triathlon. For the 2024 race season, Castle Race Series have been awarded several qualifiers and Championships by British Triathlon. Why not join us and battle for those points and age qualifier places!

Cholmondeley Castle
We are excited that Cholmondeley Castle has been chosen as one of six ‘Best of British’ locations by British Triathlon. British Triathlon have chosen Cholmondeley Castle to feature in their campaign to exhibit the best multisport locations from around the UK that showcase Britain’s heritage, history and beauty. The stunning backdrop of the early 19th century castle, the beautiful gardens and historic parkland host an exciting weekend of nail biting triathlons and multisport races, fantastic live music and a family friendly festival vibe. Cholmondeley Castle Triathlon and Multisport Festival is one of the favourite events on the calendar and it returns in 2024 on 22nd-23rd June.

Cholmondeley Castle - 23 June
2025 World Standard Distance Duathlon Qualifier
Join us in Cheshire to qualify for the 2025 World Duathlon Standard Championships! The World Championships will be held in Pontevedra, Spain.
To qualify for the British Triathlon teams, athletes must be 17 or over on the 31st December 2024. Athletes will need to finish a qualification race in a time which is within 115% of the winner in their age group.
There are 20 places in each age group. Some of these places may be pre-filled by athletes who Pre-Qualify from the previous years Championships.

Cholmondeley Castle - 22 June
British Mixed Team Relay 2024 Championships
We are delighted to host the first British Mixed Team Relay Championships on Saturday 22nd June! Teams of 4 athletes (2 male, 2 female) race back to back mini triathlons of 250m Swim, 10km Bike and a 1500m Run (each athlete races each discipline before tagging their next team mate). Fast and furious with a good measure of team spirit, this is a fantastic event that we are incredibly excited about! Who will be crowned the first ever British Mixed Team Relay Champs?
It will be one to watch during the race weekend!
For all awards, BTF will award gold, silver and bronze medals to each age group.
Hever Castle - 28 September
2025 European Sprint Duathlon Qualifier
Join us at Hever Castle as we host the 2025 European Sprint Duathlon Qualifier at Hever Castle in September 2024.
Athletes must be 15 or over on the 31st December 2024 to be eligible to qualify. To qualify athletes, need to finish a qualification race in a time which is within 120% of the winner in their age group.
There are 20 places in each age group. Some of these places may be pre-filled by athletes who Pre-Qualify from the previous years Championships.
