Find out all the information about your swim at Château de Chantilly. From water checks to water quality & where to hire wetsuits, plus more! Make sure to read our checklist at the bottom to be follow prepared!

Whether you haven’t got one yet or can’t get hold of one in time, we’ve got you sorted. We’ve partnered with two trusted wetsuit hire companies who will be on hand at the event to kit you out, so you can focus on your race rather than your kit.
Hiring is simple, affordable, and a great option if you’re new to open-water swimming or just want to travel light. You will need to book in advance to hire your wetsuit and best not to leave it on the day. Get in touch with either of our partners below to check availability and book your hire in advance.
Water temperature isn’t just a number — it directly affects what you’re allowed to wear on race day, so it’s important you’re clued up before you arrive.
These rules are set by the sport’s governing bodies and are enforced on race day — no exceptions. Water temperature is measured on the morning of the event, so even if conditions seem warm in the days leading up to race day, the official reading on the day is what counts.
Water Temperature Rules (shorter version)

We take water quality seriously, and your safety in the water is something we never leave to chance. Before every event, we carry out thorough water quality testing at each venue to ensure conditions meet the required standards for open-water swimming.
If at any point our testing raises a concern, we will act quickly and communicate any updates to participants as soon as possible.

Swimmer safety is our absolute top priority, and every event we deliver is built around keeping you safe from the moment you enter the water to the moment you step out.
We have a dedicated and experienced safety team in place at every venue, with full rescue cover throughout the swim course, so you can push yourself with complete confidence knowing help is never far away.

The Swim Series offers three distances: 5km, 2.5km, and 1 mile.
Participants in the Swim Series are exempt from FFTri rules, and standard wetsuit regulations do not apply.
Swimmers are divided into two timed categories — wetsuit and non-wetsuit — resulting in two separate prize givings. Category selection is made at the time of booking and reconfirmed at registration; please note that changes cannot be made after registration has been completed.
